It looks like Thursday we can separate parts 1 and 2 on one end, and parts 3-5 on the other end – outside the pavilion – so that we can put some finishing touches on our music during sectional time. We’ll get at the “Mars” portion of ‘The Planets’, and also “Horkstow Grange” from ‘Lincolnshire Poly’, and, if time allows, check on any parts by request on “Superstition.”
This week there will be snacks (for everyone! ) during break, but bring your own water bottle.
In full rehearsal (on stage 🙂 we’ll run “The Planets” from beginning to end, and “Lincolnshire Posy” from beginning to end, and likely have time for “Superstition.”
I’ll also have some new music to hand out to work on for next week – the march/theme song from “The Great Escape” movie – one of the best movie marches of all time.
